Terms of Use

Welcome to Logistics247. By using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service, which comply with Canadian transportation laws, including the Canada Transportation Act, Motor Vehicle Safety Act, and applicable provincial laws.

Eligibility, Booking and Use of Vehicles

  • You must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid Canadian driver’s license or equivalent.
  • Customers must provide accurate personal and payment information. Misrepresentation may lead to service denial.

Payment Methods:
We accept debit cards, credit cards, and other approved payment methods.

Preauthorization:
We may pre-authorize a deposit to cover estimated charges and potential damages.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance will be fully refunded. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur penalties as outlined in your booking confirmation.

Permitted Use:
Vehicles must be used solely for lawful purposes and in compliance with the Motor Vehicle Act of the applicable province.

Prohibited Use:
Vehicles must not be used for:

  • Illegal activities or racing.
  • Towing or hauling unauthorized loads.
  • Transporting hazardous materials without prior approval.

Vehicle Condition:
Customers are responsible for returning vehicles in the same condition as rented. Fees may apply for cleaning, damage, or missing equipment.

Insurance and Liability

Customer Responsibility: Customers are liable for damages, loss, or theft of the vehicle during the rental period unless covered under purchased insurance plans.

Optional Insurance: Supplemental Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) and Liability Insurance can be purchased during booking.

Third-Party Liability: All rentals include coverage compliant with provincial insurance regulations.

Traffic Violations and Tolls: Customers are responsible for any fines, penalties, or tolls incurred during the rental period. Logistics247 reserves the right to charge customers for such violations plus an administrative fee.

Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Logistics247 will not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages.
  • Loss of profits or opportunities.
  • Delays caused by unforeseen circumstances, including accidents or mechanical failures.

Privacy and Data Use

Your use of our services is subject to our Privacy Policy, which outlines how your personal data is collected, stored, and used in compliance with Canadian privacy laws.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

The laws of Ontario govern these Terms. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration or mediation in Ontario.

Modifications to Terms & Contact details

Logistics247 reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated to users in advance via email or website updates. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
